Nivine-Alvhild Björkbacka
I am deeply interested in people.
Behind every face, there is an identity, a narrative, a dream and a journey. Since a young age I have been always fascinate by people’s inner personas and my work with photography as a medium allows me to explore this through portraits.
Over the past 12 years, I have also worked with portraiture and within the film and tv industry as a production and unit stills photographer.
Past clients include BBC Scotland, The Barbican Theatre and Dance London, Rocket Room Productions, Appreiggo Pictures, Centaur Media London and the Evening Standard UK.
I studied professional photography in Edinburgh, Scotland and hold a Masters degree in Aesthetics & Critical Theory from Birkbeck Unisversity, London.
My work has been exhibited and published widely in the Uk and internationally. I am based in Uppsala, Sweden.
